We're planning to start a colony of honeybees in the back of Riverside Neighborhood Garden.  The bees will be a used for workshops, education, pollination, and HONEY!

• Hands-on urban beekeeping workshops and demonstrations
  
• Bees help pollinate Intervale crops, supporting a local food supply
• Honey and local VT soap will help raise funds for Grow Team ONE
  

Join Grow Team ONE’s 2011 Community Supported Bees (CSB) and help support our beekeeping program!

For your $20 donation, you get:

• A bar of Vermont Honey Soap in the spring
  
• One or two 1/2lb jars of honey in the fall (if our bees produce; as this is our first season, no guarantees)
  
• Invitation to our beekeeping demos.  Follow the season and try your hand at urban beekeeping!  We’re happy to share all we’ve learned and let you work the bees.

The CSBee is full for 2011, but you're welcome to join us for workshops and bee-events. Contact us for more information.
