This is the time to clean out your garden plot and work with your friends and neighbors on garden projects.*

ARCHIBALD GARDEN: Saturday, Oct. 31, noon-2 p.m. It’s Halloween – wear a costume!
RIVERSIDE GARDEN: Sunday, Nov. 8, noon-2 p.m. We will also be building additional raised beds and a compost bin to get ready for next year.
* Archibald veggies not harvested by 2 p.m. Oct. 31 will be gleaned for the Food Shelf unless you have alerted us ahead of time. We encourage gardeners who plan to return next year to plant garlic and/or install season extension measures.

GROW TEAM ONE HARVEST POTLUCK
We had a lovely potluck at the Riverside Community Room on Oct. 23 with Grow Team members, friends, and gardeners. The food was delicious and Rebecca and Bob's musical entertainment was lovely! We were also pleased to welcome Holly and Liz, two UVM students who will be working with Grow Team next semester.
Garden Party at The Ramble
The Pick Pockets
Grow Team ONE celebrated its third annual Garden Party at the Archibald Neighborhood Garden on July 25, 2009. Part of The Ramble, a neighborhood-wide celebration of creativity and community, the Garden Party included music by Brett Hughes and The Pick Pockets, kids activities, garden tours, and a free veggie barbecue with homemade black bean chili burgers and curry soy burgers.

Riverside Neighborhood Garden work day!
A great team of volunteers spent the afternoon of June 14 building and filling the raised beds at the new Riverside Neighborhood Garden. Check out an article about the day by Site Coordinator Rebecca Vickery.
Spring Plant Sale!
The May 9 plant sale was a huge success. Thank you to all the volunteers, the generous community members who donated plants and pots, and the customers who came from near and far to support the sale!
